Oxcia, a pioneer in oxidative DNA damage and DNA Damage Response (DDR) with a focus on developing new safe treatments for cancer and inflammation, has contracted Patheon for upscaling and production of OXC-101 substance and tablets for the upcoming Phase 2 clinical trials. OXC-101 is Oxcia’s first-in-class anticancer drug candidate, currently in phase 1 studies in patients with advanced solid cancers or blood cancers.
Patheon is part of the global ThermoFisher Scientific Group and is a leading contract manufacturer with production in several countries.
Oxcia continues to strengthen the organization. We are happy that Emil Lindmark has agreed to join us as a business lawyer. He comes most recently from a position as administrative lawyer at the Environment and Urban Planning Office in Lidingö municipality, where he was also part of the management team. Emil Lindmark received his law education at Umeå University. He has a law degree and a master’s degree in land and environmental law. Emil will start his service at Oxcia in March 2022.
